You Can Study Engineering With Your Grade 9 Certificate At False Bay TVET College

CareersPortal.co.za had a chat with the Head of Department for Engineering Studies at False Bay College, about their courses.

False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year duration.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These courses start at NCV level two and also the minimum amount prerequisite would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

As soon as the student finishes NCVLevel two, they'd then have attained a grade ten certification. NCV Level 3 would be grade eleven and NCV Level four is grade 12.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, staying equivalent to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level website one. Our NCV programmes start NCV level 2 which happens to be equivalent to an NQF level 2.
